Manuel D. Lopez-Leyva, MD, FACP, attended Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo in Mexico, where he received his medical degree. Upon relocating to the United States, he served his internship at Frankford Hospital and conducted his internal medicine residency at the University Hospital – South Texas Medical Center. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in nephrology at the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio. Dr. Lopez-Leyva received board certification in internal medicine and nephrology from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
